Update on Chad

     Chad's surgery is scheduled for July 21 at Saint Luke's Hospital in New York City.  Please check this site for updates throughout that day.    

     Chad went into surgery this morning at 8am.  He was feeling strong and confident. 

11:30 am- The surgery is going smoothly and Chad is doing well.

1:45 pm- The surgeon has reached the tumor and is now working to remove it.  The doctor said he is 80% sure it is not cancer, but it needs to be sent down for testing.  The surgery is expected to take at least 4 more hours.

5:45 pm- Chad is out of surgery and in Recovery.

11:30 am- Chad is stabilized in
Recovery

Wednesday, July 23

11:30 am- Chad had a good night and is doing well

Thursday, July 24
4:00 pm- Chad is recovering in ICU

Tuesday, July 29

1:45 pm- Chad is coming home today!

Friday, September 19

 Chad continues to make progress in his recovery (although the process is slower than he would like).  Unfortunately, insurance stands firm at only paying for a very small portion of the medical expenses.
