Many of you have heard of the horrific car accident that occurred on December 8, 2012 that took a young life way too early. Cameron Smithwick was a fun-loving, young man and his dream was to graduate from Penn State and become a chef. He will be sadly missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.
Born in Dallas, TX he was the beloved son of Michael G. and Angelia M. Carty Smithwick, paternal grandson of Tom (Poppy) and Donna (Nonna) and Gene and Carolyn Smithwick, maternal grandson of Teresa (Ehma) Mitchell and John Carty, paternal great-grandson of Jane Higgins and the late Rev. William B. Higgins Jr. and maternal great-grandson of the late Frankie Ramsey.
In addition to his parents, grandparents and great-grandmother, Cameron is survived by his 3 sisters; Addison Smithwick, Faith Victoria and Grace Victoria, and his 2 brothers Noah deYHVH, and David Stewart III. He is also survived by his 3 uncles Daniel Swindle, Stephen and Phillip Smithwick, his 6 aunts Kim Carty, Leslie Smithwick, Gina Osbourn, Debbie Lightner, Brittany and Christina Hobden, numerous cousins.
Unfortunately, at this time, the family is unable to pay for the costs of the funeral and is asking the community for their support. Please help return Cameron to his birthplace. Your contributions are needed and deeply appreciated. The family would like to lay Cameron to rest at Hereron Cemetery next to Pa in Texas.
